课程类型:《大学英语》课程是我院各专业公共必修课,其主要任务是使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和技能,具有一定的听、说、读、写的能力,从而能借助词典阅读和翻译有关英语业务资料,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,并为相关专业的业务英语或相关专业的继续学习奠定良好的基础。

二、课程目标设计

总体目标:

该课程以培养学生的英语综合应用能力为最终目标,通过把教学内容的实用性和学生所学专业的职业性相结合,培养学生英语的基本素质,使其具备相关专业的基础英语交流能力;通过教师作用的指导,引导学生参与教学实践,增强其自主学习能力和综合文化素养。

能力目标:

通过对本门课程的学习,加强学生的基本英语语言能力,培养用英语进行相关领域交流的基础能力,具体如下:

1.能用所学句型造句;

2. 能根据一定话题做出一段对话;

3.能准确流利地朗读所学例文及会话;

4.能用英语阐述自己的意见及观点;

5.能写简单日记及小短文;

6.能用英语进行演讲;

7.能自编自演一个生活场景;

8.听懂日常短对话;

知识目标:

通过本门课程的学习,要求学生在高中毕业1800词汇量的基础上进一步学习新词汇1100个左右,基本掌握常用英语句法结构,在听、说、读、写、译等方面进一步打好基础。具体要求如下:

1.掌握英语音标和单词的正确发音;

2. 掌握每单元生词表中的词汇及词汇的正确运用;

3. 掌握基础语法;

4. 熟练掌握课文内容及常用句型;

5. 掌握基础日常用语;

6. 掌握通知海报和招聘广告的写法

素质目标:

在以实际操作过程为主的教学过程中,培养学生以下相关素质:

通过本课程教学,使学生有合作、沟通、灵活等方面的良好素质。在职业教育,将学生自信、热情、团结、诚信等职业态度与英语的开放性、多元性相结合,培养出敢于“创新”的专业人才。

六.第一次课设计

1.设计思路

a.设计以引起学生的兴趣为开头。

b.以学生为主体,在实践过程中自我完成训练,从而掌握知识、提高能力。

c.采用发现教学法,老师讲为辅,学生自己探索为主。

2.第一节课

1、学科概况:本课程根据《高职高专教育英语课程教学基本要求》以及我国高职高专人才培养特点和教学改革的成果编写而成,突出教学内容的实用性和针对性,将语言基础能力的培养与世纪涉外交际能力的训练有机的结合起来,以满足21世纪全球化社会经济发展对高职高专人才的要求。

2、首先用英语进行自我介绍,突出自己的特点,消除老师和学生初次见面的陌生和紧张。

3、让学生谈一下这些年学英语的体会和感受,指出问题所在,并在方法上给他们加以指导。具体说明大学英语在非英语专业学生的基础课课程中所占的重要作用。

4、向学生介绍课程性质、课程目标,并交代内容安排、考核安排及考核方式。

5、供查询资料常用搜索引擎及网站,并说明具体使用方法,引导学生有效地使用丰富的网络信息资源开展听说读写方面的综合英语素质的培养。

6、请学生进行分组,以便在以后的课堂活动中,能够分组讨论,分组演讲,分组活动。

7、要求每人上交一份对这门课要如何进行学习的计划总结。

七、考核方案

《大学英语》课程立体化考核传统的考核采用平时和期末考试两种形式,平时成绩反映学生学期学习态度和课堂学习效果,期末考试成绩反映学期教学效果。该课程考核方法的改革重心在于注重对学生实践操作能力的考查。

1.考勤记录(10%):遵守学校纪律。不无故迟到、早退、旷课。

2.学习态度(10%):认真按时完成课本练习及练习册练习, 认真、积极地回答老师提问的问题

3.平时课堂默写单词成绩(10%):,在课堂组织的默写单词,要求背诵的教学环节中,表现良好。

4.机动成绩依据学生主动通过网络完成课外作业和相关职业资格证书的获得情况,共占(10%)

5.期末考试(60%):熟悉词汇拼写、句子翻译和语法运用的理论和技巧;熟悉常见句型的用法;能够利用权威平行文本、网络资源、计算机软件等进行英语写作。

八、教材及辅助资料

教材介绍:《新编实用英语综合教程》由高等教育出版社出版发行,该教材遵循高等学校“以服务为宗旨,以就业为导向”的高职高专应用型人才的培养目标和特点,重在高职高专学生基础知识的掌握以及应用能力和实用能力的提高,为学生明确设计了学习项目和学习方法。
