You need identify the targeted audience for your interpretation because different audience has different preferences of information. You can refer to the PPT slides I attached in the BB course about classification of visitors. For example: International English speaking cultural tourists, museum hunters, historians, university professors, high school children, college students, or general tourists, etc. Just identify one type of visitors.

One you have identified the targeted audience, you need to know the visiting behaviors of them. For behavioral information about the specified visitors, you can conduct library research, and you can also conduct field research (interviews, questionnaires, or observation at the site) about the behaviors of the targeted audiences. You need to present a reference list about your research in APA style at the back of this document.

You should explain what messages you are trying to let the visitor to go with after your interpretation.
