【409】The One Where They're Going To Party!
1.Gandolf 是个灰袍巫师。（磨戒2里升级为白袍，法力大增。）是护送戒指队伍里的向导人物。
ROSS AND
CHANDLER把衫办宴会的人称为Gandolf，一是因为巫师有法力（磨戒里另一个出场较多的白袍巫师是个坏人，不算），二是Gandolf为人和善，召人待见。（进矮人村还有小孩跟在后面跑），三，可能来自磨戒1里的一段，Gandolf为百岁小矮人庆生，各种奇逸的烟火，十分有手段。

1.pet peeve
所谓的 pet peeve 就是个人生活习惯上的一些小毛病, 例如有些人不喜欢别人碰他的计算机,
要是你碰他的计算机他就会不高兴, 这就是所谓的 pet peeve. (而非 bad habit.) 通常 pet
peeve 都是比较无伤大雅的小毛病, 几乎每个人都有属于他自己的 pet peeve. 所以就有老美跟我说过,
"Everybody has his pet peeve."
如果是这个坏习惯大到会影响别人, 像是在公共场所老是讲话很大声, 这就不是 pet peeve, 而要用 annoying
来形容. 例如我就常听老美抱怨, "Don't you think he is annoying?" (你不觉得他很烦吗?)

美国人说话就喜欢用比喻的方法，不管是不是固定的，大家都能理解，正骑在马背上呢，当然是正享有赡养费

是说除了已经有的little annoying things，Janice一阵子不见又有了不少新的毛病，9个是表示很多
4.Janice: Oh, look at us! Who would’ve thought that Cupid had

14th Street
Nails是他们修指甲的地方，Janice和Chandler在那遇见，Janice是说谁能想到丘比特在那还有一站
5.Oh, too soon, too schmoon
Schmoon没什么含义，就是too soon，这么说只是比较有趣，还有许多种把音似的单词一起说，表达一个意思的例子
6.kinda like a scruddle
joey给ross讲，那个动作是scrum，有些像huddle，ross本来很怕，却逞能开玩笑说那就是scruddle啦（scrum+huddle）
