Coaching Skills Workshop
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
aAdvantage’s Coaching Skills workshop introduces three holistic areas for coaching and developing employees: providing an environment conducive to coaching, confirming development objectives with employees, and using on-the-job opportunities and face-to-face discussions to improve performance. The workshop helps managers understand the coaching process and gives them practice in listening and communicating, observing behavior, evaluating and prioritizing development opportunities, negotiating developmental objectives with employees, and creating concrete coaching plans. The program’s focus is on leveraging the strengths and motivations of employees while aligning their performance with corporate objectives.

TRAINER PROFILE
David is the Managing Consultant with aAdvantage Consulting Group. As a HR professional for the past 15 years, his expertise is in strategic HR management, Leadership Development and Talent Management system.
David is currently based in aAdvantage Beijing, and he consults and trains in China.
Before joining aAdvantage, David was with Cisco Systems (US) Inc, where he was the Asia Pacific HR Leader for Cisco Sales Organization, managing sales professionals spanning across 12 countries. He was previously the Country HR Manager with Fairchild Semiconductor, China and had also practiced with Personnel Decision International, a US HR consulting firm, specializing in training & development.
