Coaching Skills Workshop

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

aAdvantage’s Coaching Skills workshop introduces three holistic areas for coaching and developing employees: providing an environment conducive to coaching, confirming development objectives with employees, and using on-the-job opportunities and face-to-face discussions to improve performance. The workshop helps managers understand the coaching process and gives them practice in listening and communicating, observing behavior, evaluating and prioritizing development opportunities, negotiating developmental objectives with employees, and creating concrete coaching plans. The program’s focus is on leveraging the strengths and motivations of employees while aligning their performance with corporate objectives.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

During this workshop, participants will:

?Practice the skills necessary to help employees understand performance expectations and build their capabilities.

?Identify strategies for a wide range of coaching applications.

?Learn to capitalize on coachable moments.

Introduction of Coaching

Finding personal motivation for coaching

Building Trust and Understanding before starting the Coaching Process

Understand and tap into the motivational drives of the coachee

Build awareness of the coachee’s world view

Handle a large span of control, coachees in remote locations, indirect reports, and teams

Day Two

How to change behavior and make it stick

Make behavior change stick

Learning Center will inform the employee succeeding in registration for the conference arrangement

in the invitation letter, 15 working days before the program delivery.

TRAINING METHODS

The pedagogical approach is 50% of theoretical input, 50% of group discussions, activities, case studies, role play and exercises feedback..

TRAINER PROFILE

David is the Managing Consultant with aAdvantage Consulting Group. As a HR professional for the past 15 years, his expertise is in strategic HR management, Leadership Development and Talent Management system.

David is currently based in aAdvantage Beijing, and he consults and trains in China.

Before joining aAdvantage, David was with Cisco Systems (US) Inc, where he was the Asia Pacific HR Leader for Cisco Sales Organization, managing sales professionals spanning across 12 countries. He was previously the Country HR Manager with Fairchild Semiconductor, China and had also practiced with Personnel Decision International, a US HR consulting firm, specializing in training & development.
