1.0 Introduction
Royal, furniture (Hong Kong) co., LTD., founded in Xi’an in 1994 and immigrated in one of the biggest production bases, Guangzhou Zengcheng modern furniture production base in 6 years. Royal as a famous Hong Kong public brand furniture enterprises who covered professional R&D design department, manufacturing department, global sales department and after-sales department. Nowadays, Royal uses his tremendous product lines to cover more than 400 cities and regions across china, as well as more than 3000 brand stories[8]. Moreover, its products also further exports to many overseas’ countries like the USA, Europe counties, Australia and several Asia counties. Due to its increasing developing sales especially exports, Royal becomes the top float of whole industry and being one of the fastest growing furniture company for seven consecutive years subsequently

2.1 Home country technical standard
Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China authorized to operate its administrative functions of standardizing management of the national standardization authorities. As for furniture industry, the normal standards are GB 17927.1-2011 for upholstered furniture like sofa’s test of resistance to ignition, GB/T 10357.2-2013 for stability of chairs and stools and GB/T 26706-2011 for palm fiber mattress ’ durability technical test standard[3]
To be detailed, As for Royal, its star products are sofa and palm fiber mattress, especially its Golden Knight Salipyrine series’ sofa and p alm fiber mattress, which are ordered to meet all related national standards. As for the standard about sofa’s test of resistance to ignition, it is the GB 17927.1-2011 Standard requires that all upholstered furniture who has wood, metal or other materials as the main body frame, should be covered or parceled by elastic material or other soft-rigidity materials on their surface, as well as making sure that no renewal or smoldering phenomenon happened when the complete products placed alone within an hour[4]. As for the standard of palm fiber
mattress’durability technical test standard, which is the national standard of GB/T 26706-2011, palm fiber mattress is a core material that have different uses of normal discardable materials like plastic woven materials, straw, wood shavings, confetti, sediment or metal debris. Specifically, a standard soft-core palm fiber will not be broken after 30000 times durability test, and keep in good condition as no detritus and fabric inside and no palm fibers stick out, and there will not have any ticks, bugs, such as worms and worm eggs while detecting in the palm fiber mattress fleas.
2.2 Export market standard authorities.
BIFMA is The Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers ' Association. Which stand as a representative of the information resource center and the office furniture industry, BIFMA won the world widely recognized because of providing professional development opportunities and a wide range of trade for North America office furniture manufacturing industry as the standard is famous for its content and technology strictly.
British standards institution (BSI) [1]was established in 1901, and famous for the British engineering standards committee. As the world's authoritative standard R&D center and international certification service providers, BSI established and advocates the world popular management of ISO9000 series standards, which registers customers around the world, and their registered standards covered almost all fields such as food safety, quality, environment, health and safety, information security and telecommunications. After 100 years of development, BSI now becomes a world-famous integration of international standard service provider who has set R&D, Standard Technical Information Center, Product Testing Centre, Certification Services and Inspection Services five complementary businesses department. Nowadays, BSI expand offices in 110 countries, employees 5500 people[5].
CSA is a Canadian Standards Association, which established in 1919. CSA Serves not only the public goods and the growth of Canadian’s industries, but the money and expertise standards development. CSA functions as a neutral third party, providing structure standard and standard for forum developing. The whole committees are
created by "balanced matrix" approach, which means that each committee will capitalize on its members’ expertise and their combined strengths, and no single group can dominate[7]. The standards continually revised and refreshed to meet changing requirements and emerging technologies, and each standard will be reviewed at least every five years.

Because China's technical standards have differences and even defects with other foreign standards, in order to develop product export scales and increase export volume for further foreign markets expansion, we must to make a series of changes to your products, to meet the technical standards exporter.
As for sofa. To meet the BSEN7176:1995 in the UK and FNAE80-214A in the USA, the domestic producer must pay attention on both product raw materials’ technology ( foreign country prefer flame retardant products ) and design rationalities, the design should focus more on safety to meet sofas’ basic use.
As for the Palm fiber mattress. To meet BSEN597-1:1995 in the UK and 3116CFR1633 in the USA, the domestic producer also have pay attention on product raw materials’ technology as the p alm fiber material must be heat resistant products,
and the design should matches flame retardant materials to insure safety. Moreover, the length and width of the mattress are also should be focused because if they are not suitable for the foreign customers’ standard, the sale will be cut down or even emptied in these markets.
3.0 Conclusion
To sum up, the article has made a brief introduction of sofa and Palm fiber mattress’technical standards in the domestic and have a discussion of the related technical standards in the UK market and USA market, as well as some introductions about three technical standard setting bodies in Britain, USA and Canada, and provides some recommendations for domestic exporters to deal with standards about how to improve the related products. Through this report, I have known much about the contents of the course.
