教学目标
语言知识目标
1.会听说、认读各个家庭成员的称谓：grandfather, grandmother, father(dad), mother(mom), man, woman.
2.会运用Who’s that/ this man/ woman?以及He/ She’s….进行简单的对话。
3.学会区分grandfather, grandmother在中西方国家的含义。
教学重点、难点
1.掌握表示家庭成员的单词father/ dad, mother/mom, man和woman。要求做到发音准确，语调自然。
2.辅音连缀th的发音。
教学过程
热身与引入Warm-up & Revision
教师询问同学们今天谁过生日，然后问过生日的同学会请谁来参加自己的生日聚会，以此激发学生的好奇心和学习兴趣，并创设一个家族成员大聚会的情境。（设计意图：通过将教学内容从易到难组合，层层递进，符合小学生的认知规律，树立学生学习的自信心。）

通过PPT依次出示李名同学邀请的家庭成员。
游戏：猜猜看。(Guessing game）

通过“猜猜看” 的游戏，引入本课的新单词。
（课件）通过PPT展示人物肖像，让学生猜人物的身份，小组比赛看谁猜得多。

4.人物介绍
（课件）PPT出示每个家庭成员的姓名，运用Who’s the man/ woman/ boy/ girl？句型进行操练，让学生了解如何介绍家庭各成员。

5.小组合作练习（Work in pairs）
小组成员内两两对话，运用Who’s…? He/ She is…句型进行操练，鼓励学生多讲。

教师让同学分组练习介绍自己的家庭成员，并参与最后全班的介绍家庭成员比赛。（设计意图：在小组活动的过程中，学会语言的实际运用，培养与他人沟通、协调和合作的能力，提高语言运用的综合能力。）
（四）归纳与总结Summing up
引导学生回忆所学的内容，并结合板书再次归纳总结，巩固所学的知识。
(学情分析：三年级的学生,年龄小,生性活泼好动,喜欢直观形象思维,刚开始有的学生可能说的不好,有的还不敢说,老师针对学生现状,在课堂上尽量以鼓
励表扬为主,注重培养学习英语的兴趣,教学设计也尽量给同学们创造情景。)
