孔子说过:“知之者不如好之者,好之者不如乐之者。”爱因斯坦也说过:“兴趣和爱好是最大的动力。”学生有了兴趣,学习不再是一种负担,而是乐此不疲的享受。在实施和推进素质教育的今天,如何培养学生的学习兴趣,就成为我们每一位教师不可避免的重大任务。下面就谈谈我的一些体会及看法。

1.让课堂内外充满爱

教师除了以饱满的热情创造愉悦、宽松的课堂气氛外,还要把爱带到课堂内外。因为在同一个教学班中学生的学习水平高低是有很大差别的。对学习上的困难生,教师更应付出双倍的关爱。因为我们对他们帮一把,和他们谈谈心,补补课就有可能使一棵棵发育不良的幼苗茁壮成长。

2.发掘美育内容,寓教于美

英语教材中美育内容极其丰富,教师应努力发掘并呈现于学生面前,把英语课打扮成琳琅满目的“大观园”,别开生面的英语晚会,热闹的生日pa r t y等,让学生乐在其中。我们可以设置一定场景,根据教材的要求让每个学生担任一个角色。教师先用慢而有风趣的语调作一番介绍后,让学生在极大兴趣和动作的激发下很快进入角色,大胆而无拘无束地进行英语对话。

3.编顺口溜,加强英语学习的记忆力

把一些词汇和语法现象编成顺口溜让学生读起来琅琅上口,也是一种教学的好方法。如在学习“longbefore”和“beforelong”时学生容易混淆,于是我就说“狼(1ong)前”(很久以前)“狼(1ong)后”(不久以后),这样学生就很容易记住二者的区别。再如,在学习以“0”结尾的名词变复数时,学生往往记不清哪个加“s”哪个加“es”于是我就说“黑人是英雄,喜欢吃土豆和西红柿。”学生们在笑声中很容易记住了Negro,hero,

potato,tomato是变复数时加“es”的名词。

4.创造民主气氛、调动学生兴趣

要创造民主气氛必须平等对待每一个学生。比如在课堂上,好学生由于接受新事物能力强、思维敏捷,对知识掌握的快、好,往往得到老师的赞许,成绩较差的学生反应慢、受表彰的机会少,往往有一种自卑感。针对这个情况,我在要求学生学习时,按照问题难易程度有意识地给那些成绩较差的学生说话的机会,提高他们的自信心。
