一、兴趣是最好的老师]
无论做什么事情，兴趣是最好的引导者。怀着一颗充满好奇且愿意探索的心，将英语学习当作一个神秘而引人入胜的世界，积极主动去探索和体验，而非当作是被强加在自己身上的负担，便会自然觉得轻松快乐很多。“Do what you like，like what you do.”和任何一个喜欢英语的人一样，张涵同学凭着自己对英语的浓厚兴趣，不仅在成长的道路上收获了很多成果，也享受着逐梦的过程。
二、积极参与，坚持不懈
张涵同学认为，在学校开展或举办各种与英语有关的活动时，还是应该多参与一些，很多东西只要经历和体验了就一定会有收获，在参加活动的过程中，不知不觉就增长了知识，而这样的形式，要比啃书本愉快多了。比如张涵所在的学校，就会经常举办一些英语短剧比赛之类的活动。此外，坚持预习和复习非常重要，张涵同学除了一般性的笔记本以外，还有一个
P&R的本子，就是预习和复习本。在上每单元之前，她会进行预习，一个单元结束之后，再
做一个总结。平时有一些错题或重点题目，也会写在上面。
三、留心处处皆学问
和每个在路上辛苦奔跑的人一样，张涵也并不喜欢枯燥乏味的学习生活，那该怎么办呢？就尝试从不同的渠道，用不同的方式学习英语吧。张涵会通过英语报纸和杂志、原声电影和美剧、听英文歌和读英文小说等方式来学习英语，从而让英语变得“好玩”一些。在看英文书籍和杂志的时候，遇到不会的单词，她就会把这个生词的意思和用法都搞清楚。经常看美剧和原声电影的时候，就留意其中比较地道的口语用法等。这样一来，就可以在无意识中促进英语知识的学习。
四、多练多用才能融会贯通
单纯的学习和机械式的记忆，一般只能收到事倍功半的效果。我们在学习时不应该做一个“移动硬盘”，而是应该将学到的知识点进行灵活的运用，只有会用的东西才是真正属于自己的。张涵在每次学完新的课程，接触到新的词汇和语法点之后，一般都会尽量多地在口语以及写作中使用这些新句法，多练多用，自然而然就会了，而单纯地背诵语法知识和生词，只会带给自己很多负担，无法收到理想的效果。
