对课文中出现的语言点的熟练掌握,理解形容词的比较级及变形。

四、知识点解析:

1.We live in the same flat 我们住在同一公寓。

Same (adj) 相同的,其反义词是 different (adj) 不同的

We study in the same grade, but in different classes.

我们在同一个年级学习,但是在不同的班。(注意same前要加the)

2.形容词的比较级(A+ be+形容词比较级+than+B)

通常在词尾加 er Kitty is younger than Mary.

重读闭音节(辅音+元音+辅音)双写结尾字母再加 er Your flat is bigger than mine.

辅音加 y 结尾,将 y 改为 i 再加 er Danny is heavier than Alice.

3.How many people are there in your family? 在你的家里有多少人?

这句话是there be句型的特殊疑问句形式, there be 表示某处有某物的句型,以后逐渐会学到,要多留心。

How many+可数名词复数+are there+范围或地点?

4.Your family is bigger than mine.(mine=my family) 你的家庭比我的家庭大。

像mine(我的),yours(你的),his(他的),hers(她的),its(它的) ours(我们的),theirs(他们的)这样的词叫做名词性物主代词(后面不可以再加名词),指谁拥有的什么东西,可以和形容词性物主代词+名词相替换。

ours= our+ n. 例如: These books are ours. = These are our books.

5.She gave them some dinner. 她给他们做了晚饭。

give sb sth = give sth to sb 给某人某物

6.It?s time for dinner. = It?s time to have dinner.到该吃饭的时间了。

It?s time to do sth =It?s time for sth 到该做某事的时间了

7.This is ... That is ... 在介绍某人时通常用,这是... 那是...

This is my father and that is my friend.

8.How do you do ? 你好(用于初次见面时问好)

回答时也用 How do you do ?

Nice to see you . = Glad to meet you .

9.always 总是 usually 通常 sometimes 有时 never 从不

这些都是副词(adv.), 用于修饰行为动词时,always 表示动作的重复频率最高,usually 其次,sometimes 频率最低。never 表示动作从不发生。

I always go to the supermarket with my mum. 我总是与我妈妈一起去超市。

I usually watch TV at weekends. 我通常周末看电视。

I sometimes play football with my father. 我有时和爸爸一起踢足球。

I never go to the beach in winter. 我冬天从不去海滩。

Language focus:

Using nouns to refer to places

e.g. tennis courts, kindergarten

Using proper nouns to refer to places

e.g. There is a 7-Eleven shop in Block 2.

Using the simple present tense to express simple truth

e.g. Ben and Kitty live in a housing estate.

Using numerals to show quantities

e.g. Eddie lives in Block 2, It has 20 floors.

Using ordinal numbers to show position

e.g, Alice lives on the tenth floor.

Using adjectives to make comparisons

e.g. Ben and Kitty\'s block is taller than Eddie\'s block.

Using the introductory …there? to express facts

e.g. There are shops, a primary school, a garden ... in the housing estate.

Pre-task preparation

1 Introduce/review the vocabulary using the wallpicture. Point to the places on the wallpicture and read the words aloud. Ask the students some questions to find out something about their living environment, e.g. Do you live in a housing estate? What\'s its name? How many floors does your block have? Which floor do you live on? Is there a supermarket/school/post office/garden/kindergarten in your estate?

2 Play the recording: Look and read. Students listen and follow in their books.

3 Play the recording again. Students listen and repeat.

4 Give the students some time to read the passage silently. Then ask questions about it,

e.g. Where do Ben and Kitty live? How many floors does their block have? Which floor do they live on? etc. Ask the more able students to close their books and tell the class anything they can remember.

5 Students read the sentences in Answer true/false and fill in the boxes on their own. Remind them to refer to the picture and the passage to find the answers. Read each sentence aloud and ask: True or false? to elicit answers from the students. Invite some students to rewrite the false sentences into true statements.

While-task procedure

Divide the students into groups of four. Distribute a copy of Photocopiable pages 34-36 to each group. Students are required to make a brochure to introduce Rose Garden Estate. The completed brochures can be mounted on the display board. Put a little comment sheet/card below each brochure for students to write down any comments they have.

Post-task activities

Ask the more able students to make a brochure to introduce their housing estates. Encourage them to take photographs of the surroundings near their estates. It can be similar to the one they make for Rose Garden Estate.

The ones 代替上文中出现的 dogs,由于是复数所以用 ones 代替

如果上文出现的是单数名词,则用 one 代替

用how ( 如何) 对交通方式进行提问

get to 后面加地点名词表示到达某地。

get 是个很活跃的词,与不同词搭配意思和用法很多。get还常和介或副词搭配词意也很多,见到后要留心积累。

如:We get light and heat from the sun。我们从太阳获得光和热。

get up /on /in/off /out…起床/进展,穿上/ 到站/下车/出去

take 加上交通工具意为以某种交通方式

再如take a bus /a train/a plane/Star Ferry 乘公交车/ 乘火车/ 坐飞机/乘星号渡轮去…

walk to ….步行去…. 特殊记和以上的不一样

walk to = go on foot We walk to school everyday. We go to school on foot everyday.

5.Let?s do sth. 让我们做某事。

Let?s do sth = Let us do sth.

例: Let?s go !Let?s walk to school.

6.Be(am ,is ,are)doing …. 正在做某事(现在进行时)

be 动词加动词的-ing 形式构成了正在进行的状态

例:That duck is swimming. 那个鸭子正在游泳。

Those small blue birds are flying quickly. 那些小蓝鸟正在快速地飞。

That bird is singing loudly. 那只鸟正在大声地唱歌。

That one is eating a nut. 那只正在吃坚果。

7.副词:quickly 迅速地quietly 安静地loudly 大声地slowly 缓慢地这些都是形容词加ly构成的副词,副词是用于表示动作的状态或方式。

以上几个副词叫做方式副词,其位置通常置于不及物动词或及物动词的宾语之后。

The birds are flying quickly. 鸟儿在快速地飞翔。

Let?s walk in quietly. 让我们轻轻地走进去。

The girl is singing loudly.这个女孩大声地唱歌。

That duck is swimming slowly. 那个鸭子正在缓慢地游泳。

8.something to eat 一些吃的东西

something 是不定代词中的一个,后接不定式to do 可构成短语

例如:something to eat/drink/watch….一些吃的/喝的/看的…..

9. I can take it erverywhere 我可以把它带到哪儿都行。

句中的it 指上句中的puppy

take 带,拿又如:I?ll take you to our school.

10. Can I bring Sam with me?我能带山姆一起去吗?

= Can I bring Sam to the park with me?

bring sth./sb.( to) 带某人或某物(去)

注意bring 和take都有带、拿的意思,但它们的用法是不同的。

Bring 的意思是将某人或某物“拿、带”到说话人这边来,由远及近,而take 的意思则相反,是由近及远。

一、单元分析(Unit Analysis)

(一)单元地位(Unit Position)

1.掌握大量的食物名称对于学生运用英语描述日常生活有极大的帮助,同时也能为Unit 2和Unit 3的学习作充分的铺垫。

2.根据实际情况制定购物清单是一项重要的能力,在Unit2和Unit 4会进一步培养这方面的能力。

3.在本单元中学习的量词会在Unit 3中复现,量词是Unit 3教学重点,会有进一步的扩展。

4.在本单元中只要求学生能正确使用some, any,这一知识点的巩固将为学习Unit 3 做出铺垫,在Unit3中需要学习其他的名词不定量修饰,如plenty of, many, much 等。

(二)单元目标(Unit Target)

1.词汇目标:辨析和正确使用可数和不可数名词。

正确使用some, any及量词。

2.语法目标:正确使用There be…句型来提问、回答及陈述事实。

运用正确的句型和一般过去时、一般将来时和现在完成时来表述一

日三餐所进食物。

3.功能目标:根据需要列出购物清单,并以合理的价格进行模拟采购。
