Last Friday, I had an interview with Mr. Li Y ang, the founder of Crazy English about how we could learn English well. According to Mr. Li, a great many students have such great trouble in learning English that they gradually lose confidence and almost give up. As a result,he suggested we students should spend not less than / at least 20 minutes reading English as loudly as possible every day. What's more, we are supposed to make full use of every morning and evening to recite famous passages and poems so as to find out the differences between Chinese and English ways of expressing ideas. From this interview, I have come to realize that it is extremely important to do more reading every day in learning English.

September 9th, Saturday Fine Today, our school organized an activity whose theme was "Showing our respect for the elders". We cycled to our destination, the Sunshine Nursing House located in the southern suburb of our city and it took us one and a half hours to get there. Microblog, a kind of online diary, covers a wide variety of topics ranging from small dally incidents to major global events. As a new way of communication,microblog definitely has some positive influence on our life because it makes it convenient for people to express their feelings or opinions and exchange them with others. Besides, it enables news and messages to spread more quickly and widely than ever before. On the other hand, it also affects our life negatively because it is possible for people to give away their privacy or other significant personal information and some misleading information prevents the public from telling the right from wrong.

4.调查报告

Last Thursday, our school carried out a survey among 2600 primary school students and senior school students about "Where does your feeling of happiness come from?". According to the survey, 60% of the pupils gain happiness mainly from the love of their parents or their friendship while 45% of the senior school students experience happiness mainly from their academic achievements. The percentage of the primary school students who feel happy when helping others by donating things or taking part in voluntary work is the same as that of the senior school students. As is shown in the figures above / Through the analysis above, we can draw a conclusion that students generally hold a positive attitude towards their life. It is also

Li Hua, born on August 2nd, 1995, is chairman of the Students' Union in our school and monitor in Class 5, Senior 3. As a student leader, not only is he confident and optimistic about his future but also he has a strong sense of responsibility and is very strict with himself in his study and daily life. Besides/Apart from being able to communicate well with others in English,he is good at delivering speeches and playing the piano. He is also active as well as kind and has been working voluntarily for those in need and social institutions for over 500 hours since

I recently surveyed my classmates about their views on the new English textbook. According to the survey, 80% of the students are quite satisfied with it, saying the pictures in the textbooks are very attractive, which greatly arouses their interest in learning English. Moreover, the texts are very interesting due to the up-to-date topics they cover,providing lots of cultural knowledge of the world and promoting a better understanding of the world. However, 15 % of those surveyed hold a different view, complaining that there are too many new words and difficult sentences, making the texts difficult to understand. It should also be noted that 5 % of my classmates didn't make any comments on it. Still, we can draw a conclusion from the survey that the new English textbook has helped a large number of students improve their English considerably.
