写作特点:

1 在date, to, from, subject字样后填上相应的内容。

商务英语报告写作的总体原则:

撰写商务英语报告时,应确保报告内容准确无误(Accurate)、简明扼要(Brief),结构清晰(Clear),建议明确果断(Decisive),故简称ABCD原则。

撰写报告前,应做好充分准备。因此,撰写者应先回答以下几个问题:

? 报告的目的:为什么写这份报告?

? 报告的读者:谁是报告的读者?他(们)知道什么信息?他(们)需要什么信息?

? 报告的素材:该报告需收集哪些信息?到哪里去收集这些信息?用什么方法搜集信息?

The current situation of the company should be emphasized too. These would probably develop their loyalty and affection to the company. Clear recognition of this can help them adjust their personal goals and it will be served as great motivation.

Then, the course can focus on our customers. High value should be put on the types and characteristics of the target customers. Their needs are also expected to be transmitted to the sales representatives, which will help them to be more responsive and adaptive when selling products. They should be given a brief introduction to the people whom they are working together with since co-ordination and teamwork can greatly contribute to the company.

Recommendations

We strongly recommend that this training be arranged as soon as possible. And it could not be held on weekends, or it may occupy their spare time.

Introduction

This report aims to compare two possible sites with one in Bury Business Park and the other in the new block.

Findings

The Bury Business Park has many empty units. Even worse, the “recent office extension” mentioned in the advert is actually a 15-year-old building in bad repair. Its parking space can only accommodate 50 cars.

Another premises under consideration is the new office block with a modern fully air-conditioned office building and new warehouse units. Besides, it gains easy access to the motorway with 200 parking spaces in it.

Conclusions

The Bury Business Park has relatively small space for office and parking; the new office block, on the other hand, has better conditions and larger spaces for parking with good transport connections.

Recommendations

It is advisable to buy the new office block at £250 000.

Conclusions and Recommendations

The company's financial position is clearly very strong. It has experienced a steady growth in both sales and earnings. It is my opinion, therefore, that buying Kellogg Company\'s stock would be a very wise investment.

Resource Planning Manager: Assessment of Suitability for Home-based Working

Introduction

The purpose of this report is to assess the suitability of my position as Resource Planning Manager for home-based working.

Findings

My working pattern and that of my colleagues varies from week to week. During certain periods a large proportion of my time is spent doing fieldwork. This is followed by office-based collating and recording the data collected. Once the results have been recorded, I proof-read the colour copies of all reports and maps.

As regards communication with colleagues, department meetings are held once a fortnight. At other times, the individual members of the team communicate either face-to-face or by phone, depending on their location. Apart from official meetings, the same results can be achieved whether I am in the office or working elsewhere.

Conclusion

It is clearly that I could be able to undertake the duties while working from home for a large proportion of my time. Clearly, some days would be spent in the office for face-to-face communication with colleagues. It would also be necessary to use the technical facilities at times. However, in order to be able to work effectively from home, I would need to be provided with a networked computer and printer.

Recommendations

I would suggest that I should be given the necessary equipment to work partially from home for a trial period. After this time, further consultation should take place in order to reassess the situation.
