二、阅读复习目标:

(一)知识目标

1.学会把握阅读选择题干中的关键词与文章中的关键词、句、段,并从中把握语篇的内容、主旨、作者的观点、态度及意图等;

2.利用关键词进行解题。

(二)能力目标

让学生掌握一定的阅读理解的解题方法和解题技巧,提高学生分析问题解决问题和综合运用英语语言的能力。

(三)情感目标

1培养学生自主学习能力,努力培养学生探索规律的精神和不畏艰难的精神。

2运用解题技巧获取信息。增强自信心,获得成功感。

三、阅读复习重点难点:

教学重点:学会寻找题干中的关键词(key word )与文章的关键词、句、段。

教学难点:掌握利用关键词进行解题的技巧。

四、阅读复习步骤:

Step 1.What is a key word (match the questions with the

sentences quickly)

教学目的:通过让学生快速查找问题所对应的句子材料,以此来激发学生学习本课的热情和兴趣,锻炼学生快速搜寻信息的能力,同时让学生了解题干关键词与材料中关键词、句的对应现象,并为下一步学习段落中、篇章中的关键词、句做铺垫。

教学准备:教师课前搜集一些阅读理解材料,制成powerpoint。

教学过程:

1.把全班分成男女两个大组,教师在屏幕上展示句子材料及问题。?Sentence1:

Step 3. Analyze key words in articles and answer questions 教学目的:教师给出一篇文章(文篇的开头句已在step1中进行了分析),强调快读首句、首段,因其有开篇启示作用,读懂了第一句,或第一段有可能预测到全篇大意;培养学生学会在文章中查找题干(有的是选择支)关键词与文章关键词、句、段。

教学过程:

1.教师在屏幕上展示文章与问题。

I never wanted a dog, but now I’m so gladIhave one. About two years ago, my wife, cathy, got a little dog with a face only a mother could love. We named her gertie.

Gertie is the kind of dog that has to grow on you. So Idicided that the dog would be trained. Th is didn’t quit e go

She spent every night lying in our bed—snoring (打鼾)so loudly that I hardly got a good night’s sleep.

Then, about six months after she arrived, I felt that something in my heart was taking place, and I was unable to stop it. My behaviour(行为方式)began to change. I began to smile at people when passing them in a street. I returned(招手)from neighbours. I started calling my kids and, to my surprise, they started calling me.I even tried to speak to my grandchildren over the phone once. I even was glad to listen to laughter from a 10-month-old granddaughter. The point is that I was changing.My wife and I both agree that it is gertie who has changed my behaveour.

Ertie is now nearly two years old and almost fully grown. I have come to like the pet little by little, though she is my wife’s dog.

Step 4.challenge yourself

教学目的:教师再给出一篇文章(文篇的开头句已在step1中进行了分析)让学生运用所学的阅读理解技巧进行练习,巩固本课所学知识,训练学生的思维能力。此项练习由学生个人独立完成,以便教师能够得到及时的反馈,同时培养学生自主学习的能力。

Albert was an ordinary worker in an oil company in america. His workmates gave a nickname(绰号)“four dollars a bucket of oil” below his name whenever a nd wherever he wrote down his name.

As time went by, people forgot his real name. later, when Rockefeller, the board chairman(董事长)of the oil company, heard of it, he was very surprised, so he invited Albert to come to his office.

“Some people give you a nicknam e for ‘four dollars a bucket’. W hy aren’t you angry?” asked Rockefeller with some puzzlement in his eyes.

“Oh! Mr. Rockefeller! I like this nickname very much, because ‘four dollars a bucket’s is our company’s advertisement. As long as someone calls me ‘four dollars a bucket’ once, I think it’s free advertisement for our company. I t’s not necessary for me to get angry. Don’t you think so, Mr. Rockdfeller?”

“O h! what a wonderful man!” Rockefeller said excitedly when hearing Albert’s words“Young man! work harder, you must be successful in the future! I believe in you!”

Five years later, Albert became the second board chairman after

Rockefeller.

Later Alber t said in one of his reports, “I don’t think we should feel frustrated when we have no way to do the world-shaking things. We should treat every thing actively

初中英语阅读课的教学设计 华罗庚实验学校郑玉贵 阅读教学在英语教学中有非常重要的地位,阅读课以培养学生的阅读能力为主要的教学目标,为达到这一目标,需要学习和掌握课文内容所涉及的语言知识以及了解课文内容所涉及的文化背景,进而在阅读方法、阅读速度、阅读技巧和阅读理解的准确度和深度上得到提高。我们应该通过阅读课的教学,使学生获得大量新的信息,开阔他们的视野,提高他们的兴趣并扩大他们的词汇量,丰富他们的知识,提高他们应用语言的能力。而当前阅读课教学中存在以下问题:有些课虽然使用了新教材,但仍承袭旧教材的教学模式,在阅读课上只是让学生听一听录音,译一译中文,讲一讲语言点,做一做练习,对一对答案,因而整个教学过程显得单调、乏味和程式化。在此,我想结合我的教学经验和理论学习谈谈自己的几点感受。 一、主要教学环节的设计 A:阅读前 1.介绍与阅读内容有关的社会、历史、人文、自然背景,特别是与我国不同的英美等西方国家的历史地理和风俗习惯资料。在教授7A Halloween ,先由学生最熟悉的中国节日开始介绍,然后进入外国一系列重大节日的介绍,重点补充Halloween、Christmas、April Fool’s Da y及Thanks giving Day 的历史渊源和庆祝方式,使这些遥远的西方节日与学生有一个近距离的接触。 2.摘要介绍部分有碍课文理解的生词。凡是学生可能猜得出的生词一定要让学生在阅读时去猜测;猜的能力的培养比动手查字典的“勤”更有意义。 3.要善于引导学生根据文章标题、插图和有关问题引导学生讨论并预测文章内容;也可根据已有的事实,对文章的结局、后来的前景、隐含的事实进行发掘。 4.提出一两个能概括全文中心思想的指导性问题,以统一思想,判断是非,使学生醒悟阅读的奥妙。 B:阅读中 1.粗读(fast reading):粗读即粗略地阅读全篇。这是为掌握大意梗概或为侦查是否需要进一步阅读所用的方法。学生被要求不能逐字逐句地读,而是采取扫描式(Scanning) 或跳跃式(Skipping)阅读,是为了抓住文章的大意。如8A Wild animals 在引导学生阅读的过程里,我要求学生抓住熊猫生长的几个重要时期做有选择的阅读,以了解文章的大意。 2.精读课文(Careful reading):精读课文这个步骤是阅读课的主体,是阅读课的中心任务,但是如何操作好精读课文这个步骤似乎一直没有一个定论。有些老师可能仍然在延续灌输式教学模式中一句一句给学生翻译课文,事无巨细地讲解课文中语法的做法。我们的老师希望能把自己知道的所有知识都教给学生,希望学生能记住所有课本中甚至课本外的知识,这样反而抹杀了学生学习英语的兴趣,更不用说借助学生的兴趣来提高学习效

谈初中英语阅读课教学案例 吉林省桦甸市金沙中学:王欣平 一、背景 现行初中英语教材具有很多的优点,但由于学生认知水平的发展具有规律性,教师只有充分认识和掌握这种规律,并结合教学实际,合理设计教学程序,充分发挥学生的主体作用,教学相长,才能达到教学效果的最优化。 二、教材分析 1、话题:本课时选择的是初二英语课本第四单元 How often do you exercise?中的一篇文章,主要是围绕本单元的中心任务“Food and lifestyles ”而展开的。 2、内容:这篇文章讲述了很多学生平时的饮食和生活习惯。通过学习,让学生明白什么是健康的饮食和生活习惯 3、目标:(1)理解课文内容,知道如何捕捉细节。 (2)根据图片猜测大意。 (3)引导学生掌握模仿主题进行描述的技巧, 形成根据主题理解文章细节并能分辨是非的能力。 Step 1: Warming–up activities (一)Free Talk: To ask the student on duty to make a speech: “What is my favorite food?” 设计思路:以讨论日常生活的话题进入,可以活跃课堂气氛。同时,由于每天都有值日生报告,可以锻炼学生的书写和口头表达能力。另外,在交流过程中,也互相锻炼了学生的听力水平。 (二)1.Revise some names of food (Let the students speak freely.)

(2) Do you think … is good for our health? (3) Which is your favorite? 设计思路:通过有趣的话题极大地激发学生的好奇心,为进入正文教学打下基础。最后向学生展示有关食物的相关链接(P67)-- “Healthy Eating”,并让他们参与讨论,知道哪些才是正确的饮食。 教学后记:针对上述教学设计和课堂教学活动,笔者有以下三点体会:(1)本活动在设计上比较符合学生的认知水平,能激发学生完成任务的兴趣和参与活动的热情。(2)能使阅读前的“Warming–up activities”真正发挥“热身”的作用。这就为顺利开展之后的多个活动打下了基础。(3)上课伊始就顺利切入主题,中间过渡自然,言语富有鼓励性和启发性,能使学生产生强烈的共鸣。 Step 2: Reading (一)Listening and scanning: 1. 初中英语阅读教学中问题设计 目前,英语阅读教学中的课堂提问,普遍存在“三多三少”的现状,即一问一答多,独立思考少;尖子生回答多,中下游学生回答少;直接给答案多,分析过程少。笔者根据自己的英语教学实践,就提问设计谈几点看法。 一、提问要诱发学生兴趣,忌直贵曲 如果我们教师在设计问题时过于浅显,或过于简单、容易,学生就可以几乎不动脑筋回答,一哄而上或脱口而出,这只是一种很表面化的“积极”与“热闹”,实际上学生思维仍停留在低级、单一的水平,不利于学生发散性思维的发展。因此,我们设计问题应该在学生现有逻辑思维的水准下,换换角度,换换说法,凡问必曲,培养学生兴趣,发展学生智力,努力学好英语。如在教学《Christ mas Day》(Lesson 54-55 in Junior BOOKⅢ)一课时我们作了如下一组问题设计:①Is Christmas Eve the night of December 25th? ②Why do children in England put a stocking at the end of their beds before they go to sleep on Christmas Eve?And if you're a child in England,what will you do that night? ③What does Father Christmas do on Christmas Eve?And
