教学设计
一、教材分析
本课是外研版新标准小学英语第四册第八模块第二单元They were young。本课通过四幅图片的变化，学习用was/ wasn’t谈论过去与现在的变化。本单元很贴近生活，因为每天都有不同的变化，只要留心就会发现细微的差别，培养学生的善于观察的能力。
二、教学目标
1.能听懂、会读、会说、会写：young，old，short, tall, thin，fat，naughty, cute。
2.能听懂、会读、会说句型：He/She was...then. He/She wasn’t...then. It was ...then. It wasn’t....then.
3.通过对本课的学习，让学生学会对事物进行分析与观察，培养学生的细致的观察能力。
三、教学重点
能听懂、会读、会说句型：He/She wasn’t...then. He/She was ... It wasn’t...then.
It was...then.
四、教学难点
能正确使用“was/were”，“wasn’t /weren’t”谈论过去的事情和情况。
五、课前准备
1.教师准备：录音机、磁带、幻灯片、答题卡。
2.学生准备：自己小时候的照片。
六、设计思路
本课教学内容是讲述过去和现在的变化。因此，通过图片的对比，学生很容易找出发生的变化。巧用简笔画，夸张的展现出人物特征的对比。例如，画一只胖猫和一只瘦猫。同时，简笔画的运用有利于充分调动学生的积极性和学习英语的兴趣，从而达到良好的学习效果。
七、教学过程
（一）、Revision

2．幻灯片呈现玲玲长头发的图片（图片下写着now），然后呈现玲玲小时候短头发的照片（图片下写着then）.描述这两幅图片，复习句型：Lingling’s hair is long now, but Lingling’s hair was short then.
（二）、Presentation
1.教师用幻灯片呈现自己小时候的一张照片，问：“What’s this？”帮学生回答出photo 之后，再问，“Can you guess who she is?”让学生试着描述照片中的人物的特征。
然后，教师总结：I am tall now. But I was short then.教师领读，并板书。引导学生“I was short then”也可以说成“I was not tall then.”或“I wasn’t tall then”.通过反复读，让学生明白“was short”也可以用“was not tall”和“was n’t tall”来表达。
2.教师用幻灯片呈现一张画着胖猫的图片。告诉学生这是自己的宠物猫“喵喵”。今年它2岁了。让学生描述这只猫的特点。然后，在黑板画一幅喵喵一岁时的照片，故意画的很瘦的样子。这时让学生再次描述这只猫。从此导出句型：It was thin then. It wasn’t fat then. But it is fat now.板书本句。教师先领读，然后再让学生一个一个的读。
3.教师用幻灯片呈现一对老夫妇，告诉学生这是我的邻居老王和王夫人。
T：This is my neighbor. He is Mr. Wang. This is his wife. She is Mrs. Wang.然后画出两人年轻时的照片。让学生根据两幅图片的变化，用英语表达出来。从此导出句型：They were young then. They weren’t old then. 通过反复练习这两个句子，让学生明白were young 和weren’t old 可以互换。
4.听录音，标序号。
把课本上四幅图片顺序打乱。学生通过听录音，重新给图片排序。
5.听录音，全体学生跟读。
一句一停顿，让学生听清并跟读。注意模仿磁带的语音语调，学习地道的英语发音。（三）、Practice（巩固练习）
课前发给学生一张表。听最后一遍录音，填空。

（四）、extension（拓展）
让学生拿出自己小时候的照片。以小组为单位进行对话练习，说一说自己过去和现在的变化。

收集家人的老照片，向朋友讲述发生了什么变化。

通过本课教学，我有以下几点教学反思：
1、通过一个复习热身导入本课，既可以复习所学形容词，又活跃了课堂气氛，使学生注意力集中。
2、在教学过程中，运用中简笔画辅助教学，能够引起学生的兴趣，调动学生的积极性，寓教于乐，更好的组织了教学。
3、在学习课文过程中，充分运用小组教学，使学生充分发挥主体作用。
4、通过学生拿自己的家庭照片进行描述，使学生更有兴趣，更好的组织教学。
同时，在教学的过程中，我也发现本身存在以下问题：学生只是会运用固定句型，一旦把人称改变后，对was和were运用的还不是很好，需要加强练习。今后在教学中，我一定会注意到这些问题，做一名优秀的英语教师！

四年级英语下册教学计划 一、指导思想 激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养他们学习英语的积极态度，使他们建立初步的学习英语的自信心；培养学生一定的语感和良好的语音、语调基础，使他们形成初步运用英语进行简单日常交流和书写，为进一步学习打下基础。 二、学情分析 我所教的四年级是三年级开始学习英语，通过一年的学习，大部分学生已经入门，开始进入状态，对英语的学习产生了浓厚的兴趣。但也有个别学生由于平时没有养成良好的学习习惯，课堂学习效果较差，对于他们要因材施教，注重差异，找出优缺点，本学期及时改进，共同进步。 三、教学目的、任务 1、提升学生学习英语的兴趣，养成良好的朗读书写的习惯； 2、发音准确、朗读流利，准确掌握书中的重点内容； 3、能够进行简单的日常用语的交流； 4、能够用简单的句子进行写作； 5、熟练掌握所学歌曲、chant等 6、了解西方文化，初步知道课文的文化背景。 四、教学重点难点 1．重点： （1）提高课堂效率。 （2）养成良好的听英语、读英语、说英语的习惯。 （3）发音清楚，语调正确，书写工整。 2．难点：使英语基础差的学生提高听、说、读、写的能力，全面提高英语成绩。 五、方法措施 1、认真备课，钻研教材，进行课堂的有效教学，提高课堂效率，做到当堂内容当堂掌握。 2、创新运用各种不同英语教学法来辅助教学，如：情景教学法、直接教学法和TPR 全身反应法，并开展一些有趣的活动、游戏让学生在轻松的氛围中学习英语。 3、创设英语情景和环境，使学生们在一定的英语语言环境里习得“第二语言”。做到“生活中有英语，英语中有生活”。 4、鼓励学生大胆说英语，肯定他们的进步（尤其是英语基础不好的学生），树立学生的信心，培养学生朗读和书写的习惯。 5、注重教材的灵活性和可操作性，以满足不同层次的学生的需求。帮助英语基础不好的学生，提升英语基础好的学生。 6、多教授chant和歌谣或小故事等促进学生多单词和句型的记忆。充分利用教科书中的课文创设栩栩如生的情景，为学生提供使用英语进行交流的机会。 7、课堂尽量英语化，打好每名同学的英语基础，重点提高差生的英语功底，同时适当地补充些课外内容，强化口语和应试能力，对每一单元的内容力争人人过关。 8、练习形式多种多样，手、脑、眼、肢体并用，静态、动态结合，基本功操练与自由练习结合，单项和综合练习结合。通过大量地实践，使学生具有良好地语音、语调、书写和拼读地基础，并能用英语表情达意，开展简单的交流活动。
