What makes a good university student
People tend to think that a student in a good university may be a good university student. But as so many students who are studying in famous university or has graduated from famous university do not well in dealing with something like interpersonal relationship or one's career, this question should be reconsidered.
What makes a good university student? It's not a famous university, but a positive heart--to knowledge, to life, to the world.
As a university student, you should learn to study actively. A positive attitude towards knowledge helps you learn more in your specialized subject as well as other fields. So go to the library instead of dawdling in the bar. Get up and read some foreigner language book instead of lying in the bed and thinking what to eat.
As a university student, you should love your life. Even a genius like Einstein do not only good in physics. It is important to lead a colorful life. So developing some hobbies is essential to improve the quality of your college life as well as your complete personality. Learn to play the guitar or join a interesting club. You may learn a lot.
As a university student, you should try to love the world. Only if you love the world can your knowledge be used properly. It is said that a bad egg is not horrible, it is a knowledgeable bad egg who is horrible. So before you make yourself learned, you must make sure that you will do good to the world but not use your knowledge to destroy the world.
All in all, "positive" is the key word.
