1教学目标

Knowledge Objects:

1. To practise using the vocabulary of houses and rooms.

2. To practise the differences between American and English vocabulary.

Ability Objects:

1. To practise intensive reading and understanding the inferences in a text.

2. To assess the difficulty of reading texts and comprehension exercises.

3. To plan and talk about a design for a study or bedroom.

Emotional Objects:

It is good to have a dream and better to work hard to make the dream come true. We can ex perience much happiness in the process of realizing our dreams.

2新设计

本课选自北师大版高中英语必修模块一第六单元第四课,是一篇阅读课文,《芒果街的房子》,在课文的字里行间,描述出了梦想中的房子是什么样子的。本节课的主要教学目标是提高学生阅读理解能力与阅读速度,与此同时,努力提高学生的英语的表达能力与交际能力。

3学情分析

高一学生自开学以来,已经适应了高中的学习模式,对英语课程的学习也很有兴趣。虽然学生们的英语基础较差,但是学生们愿意努力提高英语水平,在平时的学习中,能够积极发言,积极交流。学生的词汇量仍有待提高;大多数学生不习惯开口说英语,口语表达能力较差。

Teaching Important Points:

How to improve students’ fast reading and careful reading skills.

Teaching Difficult Points:

How to express our thoughts and opinions freely and fluently.
