Should Internet Slang Be Prohibited?
At present, Internet Slang, such as “GG”,“MM”,“Konglong”, has become popular among the teenagers. We often use them in our daily.
The ideas about whether Internet Slang should be prohibited vary from person to person. Some think Internet Slang is humorous and knowledgeable. Besides, compared with traditional vocabularies, it is vivider and more fashionable. The use of Internet Slang makes chatting online faster and more convenient.
On the contrary, others hold the opposite views, thinking that Internet Slang is too simple, shallow and lacks depth of thought. It is not well understood and widely accepted by the majority. Meanwhile, sometimes the use of Internet Slang will make other puzzled and even occurs to misunderstandings.
In my opinion, I am for the former idea. With the development of science and technology, more and more people are attracted to use computers in our daily life. Almost everything is making progresses with time passes by. So, the use of Internet Slang is just breaking through traditional ways to meet current development. Believe it or
not, the Internet Slang will make our life become convenient and successful.
In deed, more people want to cross that bridge in the coming years----making for a booming area for Internet Slang.
