学习日常英语口语的方法 学习日常英语口语的方法第一,如何用英文简单界定一个东西的技巧。 美国人和美国人交谈80%是想告诉对方what is a book 。我们中国人从小学到大学的课本尽管词汇难度不断加深,但思维逻辑结构却只停留在一个水平上。中国人常说where is the book?很少有人说what is a book?而美国的小学生就开始问:what is the book?这种where is the book?只是描述阶段,连哑巴也能做到。但是我想连大学生也很难回答what is a book?因为中国传统英语教学模式没有教会学生表达思想的技巧。 第二,如果已经学会界定,但理解还有偏差,那就要训练how to explain things in different ways. 一种表达方式对方不懂,美国人会寻找另一种表达方式最终让对方明白。因为事物就一个,但表达它的语言符号可能会很多。比如水,世界上就这一个事物,但却有多种符号来表达它。如果一个人懂8种语言,那他在世界上被别人理解的机会就会大得多。用汉语说"水"别人不懂,用德语说别人也不懂,但用英语说water,别人可能就懂了。这就要多做替换练习。传统的教学方法也做替换练习,但这种替换不是真替换,只是语言层面的替换,而不是思维层面的替换。比如,i love you,按中国的替换方法就把you 换成her,my mother,them等,这种替换和小学生练描红没有什么

练好英语口语的几大类方法 如果你学英语多年,却依然不善表达、不善面谈、不善辩论、不善沟通、不善谈判、不善推广自己、不善经营自己;如果你专业技能突出,兢兢业业,成绩突出,却因为英语口语不好而失去了无数升职加薪的机会;如果你正在为英语口语问题而烦恼,焦虑,不知道如何下手、想要寻求突破吗? 一、口语的模仿 成功突破口语关键第一步:模仿。模仿的目的在于确保语音、语调的正确和提高表达的流利程度。模仿的时候,口齿要尽量清楚。在刚开始模仿时,速度不要过快,用慢速模仿,以便把音发到位,等到发音准确后,再加快速度,用正常语速反复多说几遍,直到不用想就能用正常语速把句子轻松地说出来。对于自己读不准或比较生疏的单词要反复多听几遍,然后再反复模仿,逐个单词地练习,在那些常用词上下功夫,尽量模仿得像一些。 二、复述 成功突破口语关键第二步:复述。学英语离不开记忆,记忆不是死记硬背,要有灵活性。复述就是一种很好的自我训练口语,记忆单词和句子的方法。复述有两种常见的方式。一是阅读后复述,二是听录音后复述。第二种方式更好些,这种方式既能练听力,又可以练口语表达能力。同时可以提高注意力的集中程度,提高听的效果,而且还可以提高记忆力,克服听完就忘的毛病。 复述的内容也要有所选择。一般来说,所选资料的内容要具体生动,有明确的情节,生词量不要太大。可选那些知识性强的小短文。开始时可以复述小故事,有了基础后,复述题材可以进行扩展。

复述要循序渐进,可以先从一两句开始,听完后用自己的话(英语)把所听到的内容说出来。在刚开始练习时,因语言表达能力、技巧等方面原因,往往复述接近于背诵,但经过训练后,就会由"死"到"活"。在保证语言正确的前提下,复述可有越来越大的灵活性,比如改变句子结构,删去一些不常用或太难的东西,长段可以缩短,甚至仅复述大意或者内容概要。 三、积累 成功突破口语关键第三步:累积。学习使用习语需要长期的积累。如果你能够自如使用习语必将大大增加你口语表达的生动性和地道程度。例如,下面几个使用了习语的句子就显得很地道而生动。 例1:I’ve never met John Franklin,but his name rings a bell.解析:句中的ring a bell跟“门铃响”毫无关系,它的意思是“听起来耳熟”,以后咱们也能酷酷地跟人说:“The name Oslo rings a bell,but I can’t remember where it is.” 例2:She arrived at the reception dressed to kill.解析:句中的dressed to kill可不是“被打扮得杀气腾腾”的意思,而是指“穿着极为时尚出众以吸引眼球”。积累到一定的词汇量了,形成一种英语的感,会随口而出,想说就说。 四、需要广泛的阅读 如果你要想让自己的口语内容具有广度和深度,那就必须进行广泛阅读,从阅读中吸收养分。通过阅读一些文学作品,英语学习者积累大量的习语。像莎士比亚的作品中的表达语,如“what’s done is done”(既往不咎)和“Truth will come to light”(真相将大白于天下)等等。
